The Clun Valley Organic Farm, specifically Brynmawr Farm, nestled in the Shropshire hills, has made a significant stride in ecological restoration by becoming the first farm in the region to receive a license for wild beaver release.

This initiative marks a pivotal moment, aligning with the farm's longstanding commitment to harmonious coexistence with nature.

The release of beavers, renowned "ecosystem engineers," is set to revitalize the local ecosystem, mirroring the broader understanding of beavers' crucial role in enhancing biodiversity and water resource management.

Education / Resources

At Brynmawr we welcome groups of all ages and abilities, we have an education center with its own kitchen that can be booked exclusively for your group.

Eco Accommodation

We offer on site Camping for Campervans, Caravans and Tents, there are a pair of Shepherds Huts available ‘Cornflower’ and ‘Foxglove’ each with Double Bed.

Meet The Wheeler Family

The Wheeler family organic hill farm (known as Brynmawr) is located in beautiful south-west Shropshire near the Welsh Border.

It also lies within the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is a mixed farm, with cattle, pigs, alpacas, sheep, and a range of crops grown.

The farm also includes the Shropshire Wildlife Trust’s Rhos Fiddle Reserve, a beautiful large expanse of upland moorland, grazed extensively on bilberry and heather with our livestock.
